Maximum amount of audio tracks – AAF to Pro Tools
Hi,
I`ve been moving over from FC7 to MC6, and I was wondering, is it possible to export all 24 tracks in a sequence, through an AAF/OMF to Pro Tools?
I know that you can only monitor 16 voices at a time inside MC, but I want to make sure any extra tracks located on A17-A24 will carry over to Pro Tools. Away from editing station for the next week, so I can’t test.

I don’t think there is a limit, other than that MC can’t have more than 24 tracks and 16 voices. PT has a much higher limit, old versions were sometimes limited to 92 tracks or so, but I think the count is much higher in PT9 and PTX.
