    Hi

I was going to create a closing credits roll. I have a .png 1920×5000 that I import into my 1920×1080 timeline and I was simply planning to keyframe the Y position over a certain period but it seems that I cannot get my credits out of frame because there is a limit on the Y position value that I can give the clip.

Can anybody help me out here?

    A few thoughts.

Fusion will probably give you the range you need. It will also be able to add a bit of motion blur if it is a bit jittery.

Also you can also keyframe anchor points on the Y axis to get the credits out of frame. Another workaround off the top of my head would be to keyframe the maximum Y, compound the clip and add a second Y axis keyframe range to the compound. Kind of like a final master speed control if you want to make it a bit faster.

    Thanks Michael!

I haven’t yet got into Fushion, but I’m trying to add the anchor point solution into the mix and see how it works out. In the worst case, I’ll do it it After Effects where I’m at home and import back to into Resolve.

It’s strange though that resolve doesn’t give you a bigger Y axis range…

    Best regards.
