  • max safe capacity of DVD5?

Hello, what is the maximum amount of data (in MB) that one can put on a DVD5 destinated to industrial replication? I mean, there’s a safe amount of space that I should leave empty for best compatibility with standalone players?

    Thanks.

The 4.7GB you always see supposed that 1GB=1000000MB, but the true capacity is measured in binary format. So get the 4.7GB

1GB is 1,000MB not 1,000,000MB – that would be 1TB. If only that kind of capacity were available to us today!
