    Hi,

We received some audio that was recorded on a digital multi track recorder. The files are WAV format. It was an all day shoot and they just started the recorder in the morning and ran it continuously all day.

Therefore the clips are around 8 hours long. When we try to import them into Final Cut the come in at around 4 hours – truncated.

I guess we are running into some kind of limitation.. can’t seem to figure out if it’s the software, the filesystem or what…

    Any suggestions?

Break it up in to smaller aif files? You can set ins and out in compressor.

Are they BWaves or just plain ole wavs? Can you open them on a PC?
