I am producing a 122′ x 20′ blended screen for a live event. The client wants to use one large PowerPoint file as a background with subtle animations during break and in between presentations. I have 2 Matrox Triple Head2Go DP Graphics Card Expanders to use through 2 Mac Pros (1 as primary, and 1 as back-up). And everything is going to be blended through a Vista Spyder x20.

I don’t have any experience with these graphics card expanders, I just received them from the client, and load in of equipment is a week away.

    What’s your question?

The Matrox GXM product line works well, though I’ve used the Analog and Digital editions, not the DisplayPort edition. You should talk talk to your engineer or Spyder op if you have specific questions or concerns about your setup.

    David,

The tripple head will work with the X20, but you will have to use 3 inputs / layers to do it.

It may be easier to just run the Mac tower directly in to the X20 via a Dual Link DVI cable. The X20 is able to take an input 2450 pixels wide via dual link dvi.
