    We crashed a drive..so we lost PP2 and Matrox…

We loaded the Adobe Suite and it did not see the Matrox card..so I then tried to load the drivers….and nothing worked..

Then I wondered..was I to REMOVE the Matrox rtx 100 card beofre reinstalling Premier 2?

No what? Do I remove the Matrox card, Uninstall Premiere, load premier and then install the card over again.??

    PLEASE HELP!

Got caught with that one too.

    1. You need to uninstall PPro and the RTX100 drivers (X.Tools)
    2. Install PPro as per the installation manual
    3. Install the RTX100 drivers (X.Tools)

The reason for the install order is that X.Tools installs in some of the PPro folders and hooks itself into PPro.

So..to be sure..I need to remove the CARD??

    Then install PP2

    then install the CARD

    Then the MATROX drivers..

do I install the old drivers that came with the card or just begin with the latest drivers.

    Thank you

    1) Uninstall X.tools by choosing Start > Programs > Matrox X.tools > Uninstall.

    2) If you have a Matrox display card (G400, G450, G550, Parhelia, P650, or P750), uninstall Matrox Graphics Software using Add or Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel. If you do not have a Matrox display card, skip to Step 4.

    3) If you performed Step 2, download and install the latest drivers for your Matrox display card.

    4) In Windows Explorer, select the folder C:\Windows\INF (where C: is your system drive). If you do not see this folder, you must enable Show Hidden Files and Folders by choosing Tools > Folder Options > View. Once you are in the INF folder, delete all of the OEM*.inf and OEM*.pnf files (the asterisks refer to the numbers that will appear next to them).

    5) Open the Device Manager by right-clicking My Computer, then choosing Properties > Hardware > Device Manager, and delete all of the Matrox entries (there should be 5 of them).

    6) Click Action > Scan for Hardware Changes to re-detect the Matrox devices, click No or Cancel, for each Matrox item detected.

    7) Re-install Matrox X.tools
