If any of you want to see Axio in action, I will be doing demos in the following cities:

Norcross, GA. Sept. 20 Atlanta CAD is the dealer to contact

Salt Lake City Sept. 22 Performance Audio is the dealer to contact.

Toronto, Canada Sept. 27 Bell Micro is the dealer to contact

Cincinnati, OH Oct. 4-5 Industrial Video is the dealer to contact.

Boston, MA Oct. 6 1 Beyond is the dealer to contact.

If you would like to check out a system with really great quality, and a tremendously powerful real-time feature set, that will edit all of your SD formats AND edit all HD formats including HDV and DVCPRO HD, thats available for as low as around $15K, come and check out my Axio demos. . .

[Larry Sherwood] “edit all HD formats including HDV and DVCPRO HD,”

Larry — I understand that if all I’m editing in “HD” is HDV/DVCProHD, the Axio SD flavor will suffice. Wearing both your tech-expert and your independent-producer hats, what do you think of that strategy?

    Hi Larry,
This is off topic but I can’t find your email address and I need some help with my Axio system.
I have been trying for weeks to get a piece of 1080i or 1080p video in the HD Off-line codec and in on-line quality from my dealer or from Matrox with no luck. We will be on-lining an HD feature in a couple of months and we want to try the off-line codec in Combustion/Max where we will be creating the CGI for this feature.
I understand that the dealers and demo guys have some on the demo systems, so do you have a 1 sec or greater clip in off-line and on-line you could ftp to me. This shouldn’t be too big to ftp.
I will send you my ftp address privately.
    Thanks
