Matching XD CAM HD footage
Hello guys Im new here but I have hopefully an easy quick question. I have some helicopter XDCAM footage shot 1920 X 1080 30p that Final Cut says is HD 4:2:2. I want to match that footage with a Sony EX1 so is that possible? I know the color info wont be there but I am assuming pixel aspect ratio and all else is possible?

Yes, There isn’t that much difference between these codecs, Final Cut works with nearly any media and I’m sure you can color match without any issues.
