    Hello,

I was recording one concert of classical music from two different spots so my sound is not the same on these two recordings. As it occurred one mistake I need to add just a small part of second recording to my first one.
So, I was wondering if it is possible to adjust second clip (sonate_2.mp3) to match the first one (sonate_1.mp3)
What would be the right software to achieve this and what is the best way to do it, if that is even possible at all.
    Thank you all in advance.

    p.s.
I have these softwares available for sound editing: adobe audition & premiere pro and izotope rx 6

Hello Muaz and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

Add reverb to the 2nd file to math that of the first.

    or,

See if there’s a spot in the first where the same figure is played and do a copy/paste repair.

First of all thank you for your reply.
Sorry, but I have to aske you how to do this (I am new to audio editing)? By this I mean in which software? Do I need to manualy adjust reverb for the second file or is there any automatic comparation or suggestion which I could copy to the second file.

    Second method:
At the end of the file (sonate_1) there is a small part which is pretty similar to the whole second clip (sonate_2) but I still do not know how to do copy repair.

Sorry for my stupid questions but as I already said I am pretty new in Audio Editing and thank you a lot for you support.

    Muaz,

If this is an important project, it should be done right. This may not be the best time for this to be your first audio project.

Where are you in the world? Perhaps there’s a good audio practitioner nearby who can help you?

It is not such important project, and it does not need to be perfect.
I just want to be able to reduce such an obvious difference between these two files – or to be exactly to make these 7 seconds of the second file sound similar to the first file.

I am in Europe, Austria, but I am not sure how much does it matter where I am from.

Not necessarily a good reason to dismiss questions.

I was asking to see if there were any good audio people who you might hire to assist you.

What you’re trying to do takes some finesse and qualitative as well as quantitative hearing.
