matching in and out frames from edit in premiere through ae and mocha
Dear Premiere and vfx gurus,
I did some work in ae and mocha so far. For a 30min kind of “short film” I am hooked in to do some post work.
First of all the movie is edited in edius canopus pro. Hope that the edl / aaf Workflow will work to get the movie into premiere. In about 50 to 60 shots there are classical wire and unwanted things removal tasks. So I have to jump to AE and than into mocha.
Jumping in AE is thanks to dynamik link very easy. But there is no such convenient workflow into Mocha – as far as I know.
So when I import the clip into Mocha I have to manually select the in and outpoint from the trimedit. Thats what I did so far – and that kind of sucks – especially if there is more than just a few clips for this workflow.
Is there maybe a way in Premiere with that I can export only the trimmed clips in the timeline as the trimmed version (with the I and O frames set from the trim)?
Didn´t find this option in the programm manager.
Hope you know what I´m talking about 🙂 and you can suggest a smoother workflow.
Thanks a lot – looking forward to suggestions,
Felix
