matching GL2 and XL2?
I do event video and often contract out work to a couple local freelancers to shoot with me for multi-cam stuff….weddings, recitals, etc. I own a GL2 and both of my freelancers own XL2s. I shoot in automatic mode with my GL2 (sometimes after white balancing) and the image quality is nearly always great. Good color, good depth to the image, great low light performance. The XL2s are a different story. I can never get the XL2s to match my GL2. We’ve tried shooting in automatic and manual modes to no success. The resulting image is very poor. Colors are a bit off, poor low light performance, overall image looks gray-ish and has little depth to it. Just seems flat.
Anyone have any tips for getting these XL2s to shoot more like my GL2? Settings, etc? Thanks!
