matching clips in PPro 1.5
I have a clip that has a bad bluish cast from daylight bursting in a window at a point where I couldn’t stop an interview to adjust the lighting.
In PPro 1.5, I used the color corrector and brightness/contrast effects so that the clip looks pretty good. I’d like to be able to somehow match this complex of information to apply to other clips from the interview. I tried using the color match tool, by using the master sample and target eyedroppers, and clicking the match button, as directed in the documentation, but it didn’t achieve a color match (not even close). I’m not sure if I’m using it incorrectly, or if it’s just because there’s two effects at play, but I’m wondering if anyone can tell me how to create a sort of profile so that the information in the corrected clip could be easily applied to other clips so they match. I thought this was what color match wd do, but either I’m using it incorrectly, or…
All help appreciated!
