    Hi,
We are looking at shooting a promo for our company and were wondering if it is possible to match the camera moves filmed on location with the cameras inside after effects. Are there specific things that need to be noted whilst filming? Are there moves that should be avoided? We will be filming on HDCAM eventually but may do some tests on DVCAM first.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a lot

    Regards

    Chris

    2d or 3d tracking?

    Hi,
We would want to use 3D tracking. Is there a way of doing this without spending loads of money on 3D tracking software? Although we may be able to spend some money to acheive this effect if need be.

    Thanks

    Chris

syntheyes is a cheep but (I’m told) powerful camera matching tool that exports AE position data (Plus tons of other 2D and 3D formats).

You can learn more about it here:

Other solutions include 2D3 Bojou if you want to spend $10,000
