    Hello everyone;

    NO, I’m not talking color wise. I’m sure this has been beaten to death before but I’m trying to get my head around an issue completely new to me.
    I’ve recorded a blues band with my AF101 (p25) and my GH2 (p24)

    Now I’m trying to match ’em timewise in post to edit a videoclip for them… What would be the correct way to do it?
    So far I’ve conformed GH2 footage from p24 to p25 with CinemaTools and then change speed within FCP to a 96% of original which gets me pretty close but… Is there a better way to get them in syncro without having to speed change?

    Thanks a lot in advance, GREAT FORUM!!

    For future gigs I would set BOTH cameras to 24P and then conform BOTH videos to 25P afterwards. This is the only simple way to have both cameras in synch.

    Eventually the GH-2 should get 25P, either from Panasonic or from a GH-2 Hack. I still don’t understand why Panasonic did not provide 25P right from the start. ( seems very strange )

    Thanks a lot! I guess sound should be handled with an external, right? I understand the AF101 will not record sound while at p24

    The AF-100 does not record sound when in variable frame rate mode, otherwise it records audio at all frame standard frame rates:

    1080/60i, 1080/50i, 1080/30p (over 60i), 1080/25p (over 50i), 1080/24p (native)

    720/60p, 720/50p, 720/24p (native), 720/25p (over 50i), 720/30p (over 60i)
