  • Match3D layer position to camera view

Hi. I’m animationg the camera in 3D space making a long slow movement.
When I create a new layer and make it a 3D layer it obviously places itself in 3D space and disappears from the camera view.
Is there a simple way to position it in front of the camera so I can easily match the position where it was created as 2D layer?
    Thanks

You can select the layer and press the Control + Home keys on Windows or the Command + Home Key on Mac.

That’s the shortcut for Layer >Transform > Centre in View.

    Yes, sure.
I knew there was the “center in view” command somewhere and it was right under my nose… Maybe it was time to take a break.
    Thank you very much!
