‘Match Source’ is really handy when doing a series of quick encodes to Quicktime or H264.

December’s AME Updates & Enhancements post states “Match Source functionality has been expanded to the QuickTime, MXF OP1a, and DNxHD MXF OP1a formats”.

I have a lot of files to encode to WMV, and I find myself manually entering the width and height to match the source footage every time. Is this really the fastest way of doing this?

    Thanks,

    Dave

Make your own presets. Unless you’re dealing with a bunch of weird non-standard frame sizes.

Thanks for your reply Tero. I set presets as much as possible but as you say it won’t help with a folder of different sized videos.

I have put in a feature request for all formats to match source when first added to the queue.

    Cheers,
    Dave
