    Hey guys and gals,

So I am experiencing this problem where when I try to match frame a subclip that I have put into the timeline, it matches back to a completely wrong piece of footage. The viewer says it is the right subclip up in the title bar at the top, but it isn’t. I trashed my prefs (and am using fcp 6), but it didn’t seem to fix anything. I have to spit shots out for 3D and wanted to match frame them…but looks like I’m going to have to write down the timecodes and look for the matching subclip manually. Any idea what could be happening?

    Thanks,
    Eli

Is the original clip in your bin the correct clip?

Try deleting your render files and try again.
