I am having some trouble finding the right export settings for my work. I had an H.264 preset saved on my old computer, and now that I have moved to another machine, I can’t seem to get back to those settings. Below is an image of the old and new clips side by side. The one on the left is the older one that I am trying to get back to. As you can see, the one on the right is washed out. It’s very easy to tell the difference if you look at the skeleton in the background.

I’m fairly confident that I used the Apple TV 480p 29.97 preset for the H.264 format on the old clip. Then I changed the source scaling to “scale to fill.” I have tried doing this, as well as many other presets, for the new clip, but they all look washed out.

I am using Adobe Dynamic Link to pull AE comps into Premiere and export from there… Same process I have always done. Does anyone have any ideas on why these look so much different? Could it be something besides the export settings?

Are you color correcting before exporting?

No, there is no color correction.
