How do I match back to a sequence rather than an individual clip? I use a selects reel that has effected footage and I don’t want to match back to the original material.

    Thanks!

You can match back to clips, group clips, multicam clips. You can’t match back to sequences. Sorry

If all of your ‘effected’ footage is in the same sequence one option would be match frame to the master clip, open up the selects sequence and then reverse match frame to find it on the line.

Not the most elegant solution but helpful if you have quite a large line of selects.

Load your selects reel into the source monitor, then use “reverse match frame” command.
