I am self-taught on FCP and don’t know the steps to mastering with FCP. I am pretty broke so I can’t buy the DVD tutorial either. Does anybody know where I can learn how to do this? I have a feature horror film that is ready to go to sound and musical score. I also need to know how best to prep my files for the sound guy. Thanks!

Sorry man, the only way I know how to learn this is to be taught it by someone who knows, and in person. There MIGHT be books and DVDs, but I don’t know of any online resource that explains this for free.

“The sound guy” is the best one to tell you how to prep it. Anything any of us tells you will be the exact opposite of what he wants. Go to the person you plan to work with.
