master slider
Does anyone know how to create a slider that can control the positions of many sliders, for instance a slider that is tied in to its own independent f-curve manager for tracking and controlling the positions of other sliders?

Create a null object. Create an Xpresso tag for it. In the Xpresso window. Drag in your user ‘master’ slider you made. Also drag in all other sliders you want controlled. Link the relavent parameters from the master to the slaves. Then obviously pipe this flow through math nodes or whatever you want. You can use a range mapper node so that where one the master slider moves a certain amount, it controls another a different amount.
Also you can set this functionality up almost automatically by usiing the Set/Driven function of C4D. So that one thing controls another.

Many thanks for the quick response. What do you do however if the “slave” sliders exist within a PoseMixer tag?

nope, I was right the first time, you can’t drag sliders into the Xpresso window.
