    what have I missed?

I have a sequence with a bunch of clips. I decided to take some of those clips and make them a nested sequence.
I edited the nested seq. making it a few seconds shorter.

Now my original seq has a lot of black ‘filler’ at the end of the nested seq block.
why didn’t the main seq shrink?

if I drag the nested onto the main its the correct (smaller) size.

I’m guessing I’ve missed a setting somewhere. I’ll scream if this is yet another bug.

just found on Adobe forum that PPro doesn’t work as expected / like all other editors. what a surprise.
the main sequence does NOT reflect nested seq changes (in length only?)
you have to manually go and trim sequences.

    what a pain.
