master gain
Hi, all,
Anyone having problems keeping the “master gain” setting in the log and capture window from changing? I set the master gain to .6, to bring up levels to -18db. (I have locked them in at 0db on my mixer already.) When I click on any other window (browser, viewer, whereever) the “master gain” resets to 0, and I find that I must constantly check this and reset quite often.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks much,

The first thing to always try is to Quit FCP, Restart the Mac, Open your FCP project and try again.

A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
