  Master Color Control question + Do Expressions effect render time?

  Hello. I’m building a fairly complicated project that has many, many text layers spread out over many, many comps. I’m building in a single MASTER COLOR CONTROL layer to manage the text color throughout the project. Currently I plan on adding this expression to a Fill effects on every text layer in the comp so it’s color is determined by my MASTER COLOR CONTROL layer (which has a Color Control effect on it).comp("MASTER-CONTROL").layer("Text Color 001").effect("Color Control")("Color")I guess I have a couple questions. 1) Is this the best / most efficient way to control the color throughout the comp? 2) If not, is there a better way? And 3), Overall, do expressions such as this slow down render times?
