    Howdy,

I have an event where the audio is too low. I have created a volume envelope on the event and boosted the volume this way, but it is not enough. The only way I can get the audio loud enough to hear, is by maxing the master audio control. But what this does,of course, is boost the audio in all the other events and it just doesn’t work this way as these other events are now far to loud.

What is the best way to tackle this problem. I thought of creating another project with just this event, importing, and then dragging to the timeline. Is there an easier way?

    Thanks in advance. Gary

Duplicate the event as that will double the volume.
However, if the volume is that low, any boosting you do is going to increase the background noise substantially.
If you don’t have tools like Sound Forge or iZotope, try Audacity (it’s free) for noise reduction which you will need.

Click on the Event FX button on the lower right of the audio event you
want boosted, then choose for example the Graphic EQ(Equalizer),
Click Add then OK, then adjust the audio as you desire.
