The 2nd act doesn’t work…

In my opinion, the open is terrific and everything goes perfectly right up until the shot where she doesn’t reach the passing shot. Then there is a stretch of several shots that don’t sustain either the action or meaning (the 2nd act). Then, it finishes strong.

Maybe the additional elements yet to be added bolster that middle section, but on a purely intrinsic level (what’s there now), that middle section is not as elegant as the rest.

Does this make sense to you?

I completly agree with you.

The one benifit of working in a school, spicificly a digital lab full of people editing projects is you can say the following.

“Sure you can have that computer, but first you mind looking at this?”

I’ve tightened the middle part, tossed in the first draft overlay at the end (more to come).
