So I updated yesterday to 10.0.3 running on the latest update of lion. About 3 hours after that I wasn’t able to undo anymore, and then I tried to restart and my computer froze on the linen screen. Tried to restart again…nothing. Then reinstalled Lion and and still it didn’t work. Then restored from the last backup and nothing. The only thing that worked was going back to the Time Machine Backup before I installed FCPX 10.0.3. Now it works fine.

I am Apple’s biggest proponent, I believe in FCPX, but I just kinda feel like I am in an abusive relationship with them. When can I hit the ground running?

Mac Pro 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel
    Aja Kona 3 Card
    ATI Radeon HD 5870
    32 gigs of ram
    Lion 10.7.2

Similar here. Did an 8-hour edit today and now my projects won’t open. FCPx boots, thinks for about 10 seconds, see some render action going on.. dies. They didn’t test this release out. More bugs still than an ant hill.
