Anyone know how to make a series of transitions, without having to individually drag each clip?

For instance, I am doing a slideshow, and I wanna know if I can just set a transition for one clip, a certain length, and then apply it to all the pictures in one easy step.

    Make sense?

    Of course it makes sense…

In the options/preferences/edit you can set up the amount of
    automatical overlap.
Drag then your slides to the timeline, then use the selection edit tool to select all of the images.
After that drag the transition, which will be applied to all selected events.

This is one way I know (and I did) but -as always in Vegas- there may be other ways of doing this.

    Hope I could help.

You can also change them after they’re already on the timeline very quickly via the use of scripts.

Could you elaborate on this subject please?
I’m trying to better learn and understand the use of scripts, especially with mass transitions.
    Thanks!

Here’s a script that will apply transitions:

Scripts can be used to automate many tasks and even add new features to vegas.
