Does anyone else have issues with masks in Premiere CC 2015? They work fine, but manipulating one takes ages. Every other aspect of Premiere runs (generally) well, but as soon as I touch a mask point it’s like I’m suddenly running a Windows 95 machine and it takes 10 seconds of staring at still screen after I move my mouse just to see one mask point respond. It also doesn’t seem to like when I drag a mask point out of frame and needs an extra click before it recognizes that I’ve let go of the mouse click. Any advice?

Sadly not. At this point I’ve just accepted that for whatever reason masks in Premiere absolutely suck. I assume it’s something under the hood of premiere that just makes masks not work well. Maybe a future version will fix these issues but in the meantime I just deal with the maddening slowness and do any intense masking in AE
