masks aren’t working…
Okay, I know I am missing something really simple and dumb but I can;t fro the life of me figure it out…
Doing a Foam effect and I want to constrain the area becaue some of the bubbles still are flying out of the map area.
When I was doing quick tests of the Foam effect on the computer at work, the mask worked fine. I get home and do it and no go.
I go to the layer, put the mask on it and nothing happens. The mask is there, but it’s not doing anything.
I have tried it with both an adjustment layer and a solid. I looked in the preferences and din’t see anything that would seem to affect this. Masks I have created on other layers are working fine.
Argh!
Any ideas?

Precompose your layer (with “Move all attributes…”) then apply the mask.

You can make your universe size smaller. You can also play with zoom.
