Masking/blur
Hello, I recently purchased Sony Vegas 8 Platinum, not knowing it didnt have a masking tool. Is there a way to get the tool? And if not I am looking to blur the face of someone in a video, but not the rest of the video. Is there a way to do that?

Sorry, but for all the full masking features and more,
you’re gonna need a professional version of Sony Vegas.
Was about to point you in the direction of some plugins,
but found out that they are not compatible with the studio
versions of Vegas.Steve Rhoden

since Vegas Pro 9 is about to ship, investigate with sony the cost of upgrading. You’ll get the Pro package which is much better than the Studio package and you should get a good deal on the price.
