Masking unwanted object
Hello
I’m a premiere pro beginner…
I have a clip with a static object that I want to hide. It’s in the corner of the floor and the wall of the space. I have another clip with that area without the object. Can I do something similar to Photoshop where I would copy the area around the object from one clip and paste in to the other to cover the unwanted object with the ’empty’ space? Sorry if it is a dumb question! -

Yes. You can mask out the area. Place your video without the object on layer 1. Place your video with the object on layer 2. Select layer 2. In your Effect Controls panel, you will find a pen tool below the Opacity. Draw your area you want to cut out. Feather options to suit.

I should mention, you may need to Invert it as well. 🙂
