Masking to Blur A Car
Hello Everyone:
I am trying to blur a logo and license plate, and did what I thought were the right steps. I right clicked on track to duplicate. Then I go to mask the car in the areas required. Then I select video FX to blur. The blurring is minimal. I tried dropping multiple blurring tools. I even tried pixelate. All worked minimally. You see the blurring, but it does not cover the logo nor license plate number. I’m confused, because if I masked the clip directly without duplicating, all blurring worked well, but I can’t blur the car if I do it directly. Does anyone know what I may have missed?

I got my answer. I kept the duplicated track and change the setting to Source Alpha. Then it allowed me to increase and decrease the strength of the defocus tool.
