I know I can change a colour in a scene by these ones get complicated.

They are a yellow/brown truck cab – yellow trucks are bad cos they signify the colour of a particlar company in the production so we have to change the colour…pitty the client didnt bother telling me that on location. We could have shot other trucks…but I digress…the trouble is that along with the yellow is a lot of dried grass the truck travels through which is very similar in colour and that is a problem.

I suppose a mask is the only way and I am no expert.
As you can image the truck is hurtling through the landscape so the mask needs to be moving all the time.
Do you know of good masking techniques or should i get some who knows AE or similar to mask the shots off. Thx

There is no easy way to do this in Vegas so yes, I would find someone who has an app with Motion Tracking capabilities.
AE may have a plug-in for this but I don’t use it so I can’t speak from experience or knowledge.

AE could do this, but if you would like to stay within Vegas, you can use the Boris FX plugin.
