    G’day guys.
I am looking to create a strong glow effect but keep it within particular boundaries. (In this case, a bright red glow within a furnace).
I can apply a mask directly to the objects, but this doesn’t apply to the glow itself.
Any suggestions on how to keep this glow bounded?
    Any help would be appreciated.
Attached is a rough idea of where I’m at. (as you can see, the glow extends outside the furnace).

    Cheers
    Fritz

If your Glow effect is on an adjustment layer, then mask that adjustment layer rather than the underlying object.
