Masking / Cutting out an object
So I’ve got the following scenario: A person in front of a green screen and a hole inside the green screen because it’s damaged. I am able to key the person with ultra key but of course the hole inside the green screen will be still visible. I also want to get rid of that hole. My question is: HOW?
What I do: I use an 8 point mask and mask the person so that only the person will be visible.
Isn’t there a way to INVERT masks in Premiere? Instead of saying: I want to see what’s INSIDE THE MASK I want to cut something out of my picture with the mask?
As in: I just want to create a mask around the hole in the greenscreen so that it will REMOVE that hole and display what is NOT mask aka the person. I think in After Effects it would be just invert mask. I have no idea how to do that in Premiere/ where that option is hiding.I hope you get what I am trying to accomplish. Create a mask around the hole thus removing it instead of masking the person.
Thanks in advance
