Masked wipe transitions
Could anyone explain or point me to a tutorial on creating masked wipes inside Resolve commonly used in VFX breakdowns like this?

Use the built in triangle left video transition between the two clips on the edit page. This wipe has a border you can size and color.
Toolbox>Video Transitions>Triangle Left.
