    hi everybody,

I have a handheld shot here. Camera is following a guy and there are some sun reflections to cover.
As Camera is not stable the reflections are moving too. I thought to track the reflection and the apply the x and y position of my track to the position of the mask I am drawing. I use the footage with less brightness to cover, so I cant move the whole Layer.

I cant figure out how to let the position of the mask follow the “Feature centre” property of my tracker.
The shape of the mask does not change during the shot. I guess it would be via the “mask path” property of the mask I want to use. But I don’t find the right way to connect these two.

    any suggestions are highly appreciated

    Gunnar

I believe the best way to do it is to use a black solid with the mask and applying the tracking data to that. Then you can use the solid layer as an alpha mask.

Only in after effects do children get to pick and whip their parents.
