    When I go into emitters properties and select area emitter, I don’t get the “Mask emitter with image(s) option” box.
    Could someone explain how to get this option to become active?

    PS I am using PI 3.

    Make sure you’re opening the properties dialog for a STAGE emitter, not a library emitter.
