marquee/title tool query
Bizarre one. There are some Marquee titles in my sequence (inherited from another editor). I have created some simple subtitles in the Title Tool, but whenever I try to open them up and edit them, the keyboards “pings” at me and I can’t type spaces or change case. If I promote them to Marquee … I can edit them!
Is it not possible to mix Title Tool and Marquee titles in the same sequence?

Hey Tim,
My first suggestion is to update to 5.5.3.6, as it is the most recent version of the application, and see if that solves your issue. Keep me posted.

Upgraded to 5.5.3.6 and now the Avid freezes when I try and go in to a Text Effect and click “Edit Title”.
Have to start Task Manager and restart the machine to get back editing!
Any thoughts?
A corrupt Marquee file?
