I’m editing a lot of different interviews on one timeline. After a few hours of chopping and rearranging, I start to lose track of which group of clips on the timeline are which.

Is there a way to place markers on the timeline that I can input a few words to give me a visual cue as to what the content of each group is?

    Thanks!

Personally I would edit the interviews with a sequence for each then I could just switch timeline tabs to get the footage I want.
But to answer your question. Yes. You can set a marker in the timeline with the * (asterix) in the num pad and while still on it hit the * (asterix) in the num pad again to open the marker properties, you can make notes there then use the next back buttons to skip to a fro of other markers. You can also double click a marker on the timeline to open the properties box.
