I just rendered a project to HDV (using Vegas Pro 9) and imported it into DVDA. To my surprise, all the chapter markers are not in the right place. They seems to be shifted by approximately 10 minutes. Why is this and is there a way to move all the markers over in DVDA?

    THANKS

You can move the markers by clicking and dragging them. Don’t know why they would be off in the render process as I have never had that problem. Let us know.

A ripple edit that didn’t….. ripple? Did you make a 10 minute change to the timeline?

Not exactly your issue but I have also had markers previously associated with deleted clips move into the remaining portion of the timeline. Although the “legitimate” markers were still there, this could make it look like markers were in the wrong place.

Eveything looks good on the original Vegas timeline. All markers are in the right spot. It’s just on the rendered m2t file. When I render to mpeg or avi the markers are in the right spot. Any ideas on why it’s not working in HDV?

Just as a test can you render a small portion with just a few of the markers included. If that results in the same problem render in SD and try another format. WMV, MPEG2 whatever… Let us know.
