He was hard to find, and it was by design. It had taken Greg a brace of detectives, three plane connections, two boat tickets, a bone-jarring three-hour jeep climb, and another hour by very uncooperative burro, to finally reach the modest high-altitude compound, where, standing at the edge of a rocky cliff, staring out over misty valleys, untouched by the hand of Man, stood the enigmatic figure he’d come to recruit. Without turning to face Greg, the man spoke.
