Does anyone have a good suggestion for mapping software or plugins? We use maps a lot in our HD presentations and google earth while okay can look a little messy. Does anyone have any suggestions for software/plugins/workflow?

We are a three seat production unit so things like chyron and vizrt are way out of reach and overkill for our application.

You said you use Google Earth. Have you used Google Earth Pro?

Yes we have used pro. The issue we have is that tiled effect on google earth where you can see the different colours from the different passes of the satellite. We’re looking for something that would allow us more control and a more consistent look. If all else fails, google earth pro is there for us, but we’re thinking there must be a better way.

Once upon a time Curious Maps was a solution. Since they were acquired by VizRT it’s been folded in to a bigger enterprise level $ystem.
