    I’m trying to create an old fashioned- flip book animation from a mov file. where each card that I flip into place has the next frame of video displayed on it. So if I have a 10 frame movie clip (quicktime or Tiff sequence) I assume a slider would be involved and some sort of frame to time code? Not really sure. Any help would be most appreciated! BTW i have the cards working in space through expressions I just need to map a frame to each layer now. Thanks!

    I should mention that the reason I’m doing it with expressions is to easily replace video clips and to be able to vary the speed of the flips for different animations. Thanks again

    I found this piece of code to be very helpful

    //.0417 is the decimal time for 23.976fps video
    thisComp.layer(thisLayer,-1).timeRemap+.0417

    if you have each frame physically flipping on, then i would think you’d just need to sequence the layers (animation>keyframe assistant>sequence layers…)
