    Hey guys,

I am trying figure out what is the best way to map 2-D moving objects on 3-D objects.

I am thinking I cant just go and add a movie clip in an object’s surface in Cinema 4D, but I think in after effects there a way to add to a moving object a looping texture.

I know I can set null objects in Cinema 4-D so I can then place objects in the desirable z-space in AE, but that doesn’t take me too far this time.

Here is an example of the technique I am trying to achieve:

Thanks everyone. Your advices are very much appreciated.

You’ll probably have better luck if you post in the Cinema 4D forum.
