Manual/Auto Iris Happenings
Hey All,
I’m a new HPX owner (posted a quick question last week as well), and have a new question discovered while in the field today.
It appears that if I have my HPX set to “Manual Iris” if I’m zoomed in at “Z85” or closer, the iris automatically adjusts itself to 2.8. When I try to set it where I need it manually, it will only go 2.8 or higher (3.4, etc.). If I try to go the other way, it changes to “OPEN” yet I can tell there’s no difference in the image from the 2.8 level.
My AUTO SW settings are at “A.IRIS = OFF”. Am I missing something here? I simply want full Manual control, and to toggle from Manual to Auto freely, without one bleeding into the other.

Nevermind! I’ll make sure to read the manual more closely and hopefully not waste your guys’ time next time out.
