manual for SONY J-3
Someone have operation manual for compact player SONY J-3 (not J-30) I tried to google it. And without success. And one more question. SDI out on betacam is always interlaced upper field? I have AJA Io Express on windows 7. And use QT uncompress 422 10 bit signal.

Hi,
I have a J3; I can look around monday for the manual. HOWEVER, since the J3 is a standard-definition deck, I can tell you that the output would but LOWER field first. HD is upper field first.

Depends on the frame rate:
PAL (25fps) is UPPER field first.
NTSC (29.97fps) is LOWER field first.HD (25fps) is UPPER field first.
HD (29.97fps) is UPPER field first.Mike

PAL is lower field for SD.

Only for the DV codec.
Otherwise, PAL (SD) is Upper field first.
