GREAT POST! I’ve been looking for a solution to this for over a month now!

One question: Is it possible to somehow do the same object manipulation within Final Cut without having to do it in Motion?

To explain: I have to use the same template 6 times in a weekly video that includes changing the name, place, #’s and a picture (3 sets on each template) and need to be able to manipulate the pictures in the drop zones without leaving final cut; otherwise it’s gonna get just as time consuming as it would be without using a template.

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Mitch,
Did you ever find an answer to manipulating media within drop zone templates in FCP? Having the same issue myself.

I never did find a way to manipulate them within a template. I found that there was no option to do so. I’ve now abandoned using the template since it would create more work for me to resize all my media to fit within the dropzones then it would to build it from scratch around the size of the media. Sad. Sorry (for you AND me).

This is for sure a problem Apple NEEDS to fix.
