Managing sources in CS 5.5, Thumbnails out of sequential order….
I am trying to have thumbnails displayed in a bin in sequential order. The list view allows me to view the bin contents in the order in which I shot the video in P2.
When I switch to the thumbnail view the sequential shot order is not maintained and I have been trying to come up with a solution to arrange them in the sequential order. It probably is so simple that it has escaped me.
Please make a fool of me by letting me know just how easy this is to do!

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5 on a IMAC 27, Intel core i5 2.7 GHz, 12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3… MAC OSX 10.6.8 I have a 2 2 Terabyte external drives also.

You should have a media start column in your bin. You could sort by starting timecode unless there was some issue with that throughout the day.
Edit: wait, you’re in full thumbnail view? Errrrr… you might not be able to do anything beyond alphabetical that’s grouped by type like video, audio, sequence.

You can only sort by name, date, etc.. in list view, where you can also see thumbnails and change its size in the Proyect pannel control menu.
